The Stinger Spike System is designed for quick, reliable operation. A handle pull or toss positions the police spike strips. The spike strip’s accordion-action element deploys quickly, giving officers time to take cover. Extra-width road coverage and low visibility minimize avoidance. After spiking, a handle yank retracts the tire spike unit, clearing the road for pursuit vehicles and other traffic.

Stinger Spike Systems are available in three lengths. The 10-foot Metro police spike strip is ideal for narrow streets, the 15.5-foot Trooper is perfect for multi-lane roads, and the 25-foot Defender covers interstate highways, military compounds, and security checkpoints. The Stinger Spike System XL models employ longer spike lengths to penetrate thicker tires and are available in all three lengths.

The pocket-sized Rat-Trap ll stinger tire deflation device placed under a stationary tire neutralizes a vehicle. Any attempt to drive will immediately deflate the tire.  Tire spikes can be replaced after use.
