Features
Federal Signal’s Directional Speaker Array (DSA) product line now includes a 100 W non-amplified speaker for hazardous locations, model DSA1X. The DSA1X provides variable taps for 100, 55, 32 or 18 W for use in a variety of applications. It can be powered from a Ultra-Voice Controller or any 25/70 V amplifier.
The DSA1X includes stainless steel hardware for wall or ceiling mount; optional large or small pole mounting brackets and a unique Omni-directional sound deflector are also available.
Combine multiple DSA1X’s with a UV controller to create an integrated mass notification system within a hazardous location environment. The DSA1X can be combined with additional DSA1X speakers for a plant wide notification system. With a maximum output of 100 W, the DSA1X speaker addresses customer needs for a cost effective voice and/ or tone speaker. This speaker is an ideal solution for existing notification systems where lack of coverage exists and a small compact design is required.
